  • WI Science Festival: Curiosity Cube | 10 a.m. | Monona Public Library | Free | Bring kids ages 6+ to the mobile science lab for hands-on experiments with real-life scientists.
Sunday, Oct. 20

  • Fall Leaves: Nature Art & Observation | 1-3 p.m. | Marlborough Park | Free | Collect colorful fall leaves, trace their shape, and learn about journaling in nature — register in advance.
  • Fall Parade of Homes | 11 a.m.-6 p.m. | Locations throughout the Capital Region, Waunakee | $5-$10 | Tour newly constructed or remodeled homes in styles like modern farmhouse, craftsman, suburban, rural, model, and custom.
Friday, Oct. 25

  • Blacklight & Brews | 5 p.m. | 2975 Cave of the Mounds, Blue Mounds | $15-$24 | Blacklights are provided to tour the cave and see fluorescent minerals and formations + enjoy drinks.
  • Harp Twins Rockin’ Halloween Concert | 7:30-10 p.m. | Stoughton Opera House | $20 | The identical twins will bring the house down with electrical harps while playing classic rock, metal, and their own Nordic Celtic originals.
