One of the best things about Madison is the distinct character found in each neighborhood, district, and corner of town.
They all have their own personalities and purposes — some would say it was written in the stars. Let’s take a look at how our neighborhoods align with the zodiac signs.
The extroverted nature of a Gemini means they tend to get along with different types of people — similar to this neighborhood. Midvale Heights spans over 600 acres and is home to young families, professionals, and retirees.
The sentimental and gentle nature of this sign is the perfect match for Lake Edge. The tree-lined neighborhood boasts traditional single-family homes built in the mid-1900s giving it a classically cozy vibe.
This earth sign is naturally grounded which makes the Nakoma neighborhood a perfect fit. The area is a stone’s throw away from the UW Arboretum which is the perfect place for a Virgo to self-reflect and calm their busy mind.
This sign’s need for constant change and adventure will be fed with this neighborhood’s accessibility to Lake Mendota and the Yahara River for water activities and the linkage to the bike system.
Capricorns are ambitious and hardworking. With easy access to the North Transfer Metro Station, Dane County Regional Airport, and the interstate, this is the perfect neighborhood for practical hard workers who are always on the go.
Being an introvert, this sign needs a quaint spot to recharge the social battery. Surrounded by lakes, rivers, marshes, and golf courses, this neighborhood provides the perfect escapist moment for a Pisces to relax.

If you read my wraps, you know how much of a Bravo fan I am. Between “Summer House,” “Vanderpump Rules,” and now “Top Chef,” my evenings are booked up for the next few months. Our inbox is always open for newsletter feedback, but fellow Bravoheads are welcome to hit us up with thoughts on Carl and Lindsay, Jax’s return, or “Top Chef.”
