Nothing says “the holidays are here” like everyone and their mother coming down with a seasonal sickness. It’s flu season in Madison, so we’re checking out some preventative care options to consider.
Public Health Madison and Dane County offers free flu vaccines to Madisonians who are uninsured or whose insurance doesn’t cover vaccinations at the following locations:
- South Park Street Clinic, 2230 S. Park St. | Mondays
- East Washington Avenue Clinic, 2705 E. Washington Ave. | Tuesdays
- DeForest Area Public Library, 203 Library St., DeForest | Wednesdays
- Lakeview Library, 2845 N. Sherman Ave. | Wednesdays
Note: If you’re bringing multiple family members to be vaccinated, separate appointments must be made for everyone getting the poke.
COVID-19 vaccines are also available. Check out this mobile clinic map to find a vaccination pop-up near you, no appointment is necessary.
