The beginning of October kickstarts Wisconsin’s gorgeous changing colors, fall boots + sweater weather. It also means we’re ready for some spice in our lives — apple trees and pumpkins please. 🎃
To help you get the season started off right, we’re harvesting the best spots for you to have some fall fun with friends + family.
Anderson’s Pleasant Patch Pumpkins
🗓️ Open: Weekends 11 a.m.-5 p.m. + self serve all other times
🎃 What to do: Get spooked at the haunted house, explore the hiking trail + take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. Pick out your favorite pumpkin and take home a gourd, some squash, corn or choose from a variety of crafts. Pro tip — all babies get their first pumpkin free.
Kalscheur’s Family Pumpkin Patch
🗓️ Open: Mon.-Fri. 12-6 p.m. + Sat.-Sun 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
🎃 What to do: One of the longest standing local pumpkin businesses in the area not only has your standard orange pumpkins, they also sell white, blue + red ones. Take a trip here to pick out your favorite pumpkin and bring home some corn, acorn and butternut squash, and a gourd.
🗓️ Open: Mon.-Thurs 9 a.m.-12p.m. + Fri-Sun 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
🎃 What to do: Visit this scenic farm + pick your favorite apples for a crisp, fresh taste you just can’t find anywhere else. You can also try featured local hard ciders from Hidden Cave and Brix.

🎃 What to do: On top of apple picking, pumpkins, a haunted forest + corn maze, this farm is known for its delicious treats. Enjoy a homemade pumpkin bar, fresh apple cider donut, caramel apple bars, and raspberry bars.
