Madison women’s sports are on fire

There are plenty of local sports opportunities to support and participate in.

Tomorrow is National Girls and Women in Sports Day, a day that honors the achievements of girls and women in sports and acknowledges the power of sports to unlock limitless potential.

According to the Women’s Sports Foundation, by the age of 14, girls are dropping out of sports at twice the rate of boys. In high school, girls have 1.3 million fewer opportunities to play sports than boys.
