Civic
  • Dane County Executive Joe Parisi is retiring in May, ending his nearly 13-year tenure. A special election will take place in November 2024. County Board Chair Patrick Miles will temporarily assume the role once Parisi retires, then appoint an interim executive before the election. (Cap Times)

  • Koats for Kids wraps up this weekend. Drop off your unused winter gear to any Klinke Cleaners location or participating drop-off site by end of day tomorrow to help keep kids in Wisconsin warm this winter.

  • Dane County is accepting 2023 PIE-RESJ Grant applications to fund programs addressing racial inequalities in criminal justice, health, education, and employment.
