What if Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley from KISS had a restaurant? Oh wait, they do — and it just opened down the road from us in Milwaukee.

Rock & Brews, which opened earlier this year in Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, is Milwaukee’s first rock ‘n’ roll-themed restaurant, created by actual rockstars. Their vision is to provide incredible food, memorable drinks, and great music in one dynamic atmosphere — and they’ve really delivered.

Here’s what Madisonians can expect from the restaurant and bar:

Food: from-scratch classics with a fresh spin

This Demon Chicken sandwich looks so good we could kiss it (pun intended).

Just like music taste isn’t one-size-fits-all, neither is Rock & Brew’s menu. Whether you’re vegetarian, gluten-free, or seeking lower-calorie options, they have something for everyone. The dishes are also created with fresh, seasonal ingredients from our community (read: they’re delicious).

Some of the most highly-reviewed, drool-worthy items so far include:
  • Giant Soft Authentic Bavarian Pretzel (huge, and served with spicy-sweet mustard and bier-cheese)
  • Demon Chicken (a classic served hot and spicy)
  • Purple Rain Drops (a chocolate-filled French doughnut with a drizzled raspberry sauce that would make Prince proud)

Unique drinks

Rock & Brews’ beer selection is built around the craft beer movement, and includes local, regional, and domestic options.

Prefer cocktails? Their expert bartenders can whip up any craft cocktail you happen to be craving.

Experience it for yourself

Rock & Brews is open Mondays-Thursdays, 11 a.m-midnight; Fridays, 11 a.m.-2 a.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m.-2 a.m.; and Sundays, 9 a.m.-midnight (bar closes later).
