It may be worth it for some Broadway musical superfans to look into the Overture’s ticket subscription package.
This option allows you to make a one-time or installment-billed purchase that will guarantee priority seating for the entirety of the Broadway series. Note: The subscription packages are based on a specific day of the week, so if you choose the Tuesday package, you will only have access to the Tuesday shows.
I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of musicals. However, an upcoming event at the Overture that did pique my interest is the gallery opening of the “Point of Departure” and “The Days Go By Like Wildness” exhibits at the James Watrous Gallery. “The Days Go By Like Wildness” is an art exhibit by Colin Matthes, his work reminds me of David Shrigley’s — one of my favorite artists who I actually first learned about at the Chazen.
