Wisconsin, having the 3rd largest population of Hmong peoples in the US (behind California and Minnesota), hosts organizations like the Hmong Institute , Hmong Madison , and the Wisconsin Hmong Association .

It’s also a national hub of Hmong cuisine. Check out these local restaurants:

Located inside the Global Food Market, the restaurant offers dishes like Hmong sausage, papaya salad, and kao poob, a chicken dish with vermicelli noodles.

Hmong Legacy Market , 2119 Fish Hatchery Rd.
The Asian grocery store’s deli that has everything from sesame sweet balls, to fish livers, to nava, a sweetened coconut dessert drink.
