If you want to become more involved in the community in the new year, we’re here to help. We’ve rounded up a few of next week’s virtual city meetings that you can attend from the comfort of your own home.

Landmarks Commission | Monday, Jan. 8 | 5 p.m.
Discussions will be had about demolition proposals for some 400-block State Street buildings and the National Register Nomination for the Italian Workmen’s Club.

Sister City Collaboration Committee | Monday, Jan. 8 | 5:30 p.m.
Learn more about Madison’s Sister Cities and what kinds of related events and initiatives the city has in mind for 2024.

Common Council | Tuesday, Jan. 9 | 6:30 p.m.
Email allalders@cityofmadison.com to submit questions and comments to Madison’s Alders.

Public Safety Review Committee | Wednesday, Jan. 10 | 5 p.m.
This committee serves as a liaison between the citizens and the city on public safety issues, and meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
