The brats are back in town. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Brat Fest 2022 is back at Alliant Energy Center’s Willow Island this weekend. The free carnival, music festival + philanthropy event supports 100+ local organizations — slinging four million brats and raising nearly $2 million in the process.
So we meat again:
🌭 The volunteer-run, three-day festival will take place Fri.-Sun., May 27-29
🌭 Fairgrounds will be open from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. with daily events, concerts + other experiences — schedule available here
🌭 The event is presented by Johnsonville — a Sheboygan, WI company serving up brats since 1947
Relish in the amenities:
🌭 Brat fest offers free parking in the Alliant Energy lot (roughly 6,000 spaces)
🌭 Patrons can hop on the Brat Bus and shuttle from the lot to the fairgrounds
🌭 Vendors will be serving a mix of meat + plant-based eats — full menu here
