Get it in gear, 608. Madison Bike Week is rolling out from Sun., June 5-Sat., June 11. Whether you’re training for the Trek 100 or just looking to meet some other local cyclepaths, get up to speed on Madison’s weeklong cycling celebration.\
Hosted by Madison Bikes — a local nonprofit advocacy group supporting safe, year-round cycling — this year’s event aims to raise awareness for safe cycling practices + create community around the beloved hobby.

With our bikes tuned up, we’re officially ready to hit the streets, paths, trails, or wherever you like to ride. Here are just a few of the group rides during this year’s Bike Week.
RAR Madison Coffee and Cruise | Sun., June 5 | 9:45 a.m. | Meet at Cafe Domestique for a quick java then roll out at 10:15 a.m. for a chill, 13-mile ride.
Monday 40 Weekly Ride | Mon., June 6 | 6-8 p.m. | Take off from Orton Park at 6 p.m. sharp and enjoy a party pace ride with neighborhood friends. Pro tip: City Editor Ryan loves this ride, be sure to swing by and say hello.
Ride with the Mayor | Tues., June 7 | 8-9 a.m. | Join Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and other city officials for a press conference + ride around the downtown area.
