Concerts on the Square started in 1983 and has since become a must-go event for locals and visitors alike.

The event’s 40th season was intended to kick off on Wednesday, June 28 with a performance by thrice Grammy-nominated Latin band, Tiempo Libre . However, due to poor air quality, the event has been pushed to Thursday, June 29.

The concert starts at 7 p.m., but it’d behoove you to get there early. See: the crowded lawn in the image above.

We suggest bringing:

  • Picnic blanket — blankets put out before 3 p.m. will be removed unless someone is using it the entire time.
  • Cooler — while there will be food and beverage booths, attendees are welcome to pack a cooler for the show.
  • Kids — the Kids’ Area is located where East Wash. meets the Square and will offer musical activities.

Parking
