This Fri., May 6 from 5-9 p.m., the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) kicks off Gallery Night — which features venues around the Madison area that will have original artworks to view and buy, artist talks, demonstrations + live music and performances. The best part? All venues participating in Gallery Night are open free of charge.
Below are just a few of the 75 participating venues around Madison + the events they are hosting throughout the night. You can find the full list of participating venues to pick your own route and celebrate Gallery Night in your own way.
Downtown
- 100state | 17 S. Fairchild St. | Peruse a mix of local artists’ work, watch a live painting session + enjoy complimentary refreshments accompanied by a live pianist.
- Madison Museum of Contemporary Art | 227 State St. | View the three exhibits currently on display — one of which has been curated by MMoCA’s Teen Forum.
- The Garver Gallery | 18 S. Bedford St. | Stop by for a look at the masterful oil paintings done by artist Gregg Kruetz.
Atwood + Winnebago
