National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, Sept. 19. As of the beginning of this month, there are currently 3,469,637 active registered voters in Wisconsin. Are you one of them?

If not, you can register...

By mail | Download and print a voter registration application form. Once filled out, mail it over to the Clerk’s Office at the Madison Municipal Building:

City Clerk’s Office

210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Room 103

Madison, WI 53703

At the City Clerk’s Office | Stop by the Municipal Building any weekday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (closed 1-2 p.m.) with a Proof of Residence.

Online | As long as the DMV is up to date on your current address, you can check your status and register to vote online.

Note: We’re on the tail end of moving season here in Madison — if you’ve recently relocated, keep in mind that Wisconsin requires 28 days to establish residency at a new address before registering to vote.
