Hope you’re hungry. It’s Taste of Madison weekend, a chance for you to try bites from 80 local eateries for no more than $6 a pop.
Stop by the Capitol Square this Saturday, Sept. 2 (2-8:30 p.m.) and Sunday, Sept. 3 (11 a.m.-7 p.m.) to get a taste of the action.
The 608today way:
- Bonnie’s Balls | Booth 408
Before the heat really gets to us, we’re starting hot and heavy with a cheese curd-filled donut. - Songbird Fruit | Booth 514
A cider float will be a refreshing bounce-back from the curd concoction. - Mishqui | Booth 709
Here, we’re opting for an empanada — handheld and easy to walk with. - Melly Mell’s | Booth 802
We have to get some fruit in us, so banana pudding it is. - Ben’s Soft Pretzels | Booth 101
Feeling full? City Editor Ally can confirm that a Ben’s pretzel will fit nicely in your purse or tote to save for later.
Check out the map to plan your own course of action.
