Adult Swim: Halloweird | Friday, Oct. 13 | 5:30-9 p.m. | Madison Children’s Museum, 100 N. Hamilton St. | $20-$25 | Vintage horror films, costume parade, mutant plushie crafts, and more.

Freakshow Halloween Dance Fitness Party | Saturday, Oct. 21 | 1-3 p.m. | High Noon Saloon, 701 E. Washington Ave. | $20 | Get your steps in during this two-hour dance party where costumes are encouraged.

Halloween Bar Crawl | Saturday, Oct. 28 | 4-10 p.m. | The Side Door, 240 W. Gilman St. | Cost of purchase | Dress to impress — participate in the costume contest for a chance to win $2,000.

“Bob’s Burgers” at Bierock | Tuesday, Oct. 31 | 2 p.m.-12 a.m. | Bierock, 2911 N. Sherman Ave. | Cost of purchase | Bierock will transport you to the Wonder Wharf from “Bob’s Burgers,” complete with themed food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Howl-ween | Wednesday, Oct. 18 | 4-8 p.m. | Doggieland Playpark, 4233 W. Beltline Hwy. | $35-$45 | Tricks for treats contest, pet parade, photo ops, and prizes for cutest, scariest, and best duo/group costumes.

Dog Halloween | Tuesday, Oct. 24 | 7-9 p.m. | Stateline Distillery, 1413 Northern Ct. | Free | A costume contest, pup-friendly treats, and human-friendly cocktails are all on the agenda.

Doggie Costume Contest | Saturday, Oct. 28 | 12-4 p.m. | The Boneyard, 1018 Walsh Rd. | Free | Lake Louie tap takeover, Mounds giveaways, and food trucks.

Disney Junior Costume Palooza | Tuesday, Oct. 24 | 3-6 p.m. | Orpheum, 216 State St. | $25-$185 | Your kid’s favorite Disney Junior and Marvel characters will put on a concert-style show with singing, dancing, and acrobatics.

Family Halloween | Wednesday, Oct. 25 | 3-6 p.m. | State Street | Free | Families with kids under 12 are invited to trick or treat around the Square and State Street, and watch a screening of “Coco” at the Forum.

Trunk-or-Treat | Saturday, Oct. 28 | 12-4 p.m. | Sun Prairie Aquatic Center, 920 Linnerud Dr., Sun Prairie | Free | Live music, free games, and candy courtesy of local businesses.
