Calling all Northeast Area residents. Next week, the city is hosting two community events to inform and discuss the Northeast Area Plan.

Aug. 14 | 5-7 p.m. | Reindahl Park, 1818 Portage Rd.
Aug. 16 | 5-7 p.m. | Sycamore Park, 830 Jana Ln.

The goal of these events is to give locals insight into the Northeast Area Plan when it comes to things like land utilization and transportation enhancements.

City officials will also be soliciting feedback from residents about what physical improvements they’d like to see, specifically in the Greater Sandburg and Burke Heights neighborhoods. Think: Path lighting, gathering spaces, public art.

These family-friendly events will feature firetruck tours, therapy animals, face painting, and food from La Taguara. Can’t make it? Take the online survey to make sure your voice is heard.
