• The Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce will buy a 15,000-sqft facility in Fitchburg after receiving rezoning approval. The space — dubbed “The Gateway” — will include classrooms, a commercial kitchen, and retail spaces like those in the State Street pop-up shops. (Cap Times)

• Another meeting on the Town of Madison absorption will be held on Thurs., June 9. Residents can attend to learn about changes in public safety + community development programs before the switch on Mon., Oct. 31, 2022.

• $450,000. That’s how much the Madison Arts Commission has granted to fund 22 positions at local organizations. “Artists at Work” — a program designed to encourage non-profits to generate creative positions — will benefit the Madison Ballet, Overture Center + others around the city.
